The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) in cooperation with the UNESCO World Heritage Centre will be hosting a World Heritage City Lab to discuss Living with World Heritage: Adaptive Reuse and Regeneration for Sustainable Cities. The City Lab will include the participation of urban specialists involved in the implementation of the 2011 UNESCO Recommendation on the Historic Urban Landscape (HUL Recommendation), in conjunction with the 1972 World Heritage Convention. This international workshop will take place online on 17-18 May 2021.
The workshop (concept note >>) is organised in the framework of the activities of the World Heritage Cities Programme and the 10th Anniversary of the HUL Recommendation.
We would like to invite you to attend the workshop and to contribute to the discussions with your expertise and knowledge of practical tools and actions on urban regeneration in the context of the historical city.
